Fix

Bug fixes & rescue jobs — diagnose the root cause, fix it safely

When something breaks, you need root cause — not guesswork. I fix WordPress, WooCommerce and custom sites: errors, broken checkouts, forms not sending, tracking bugs, and performance issues — and leave the codebase cleaner than I found it.

Debug-first • Safe changes • Clear notes
Diagnose

Find the real cause

Logs, reproduction, conflict checks, and isolating what actually changed — not random plugin toggling.

Fix

Small, safe changes

Targeted fixes first where possible — so we reduce risk and avoid creating new problems.

Stabilise

Make it stay fixed

Clean up the mess: remove duplication, tidy logic, and document what changed so it doesn’t regress.

Common rescue jobs

✅ WooCommerce checkout failures / spinning buttons
✅ 500 errors / white screens / fatal PHP errors
✅ Forms not sending / email deliverability issues
✅ Plugin conflicts after updates
✅ Slow pages / performance bottlenecks
✅ Tracking “fires but doesn’t count” problems

How I work

A simple process that reduces risk

1) Reproduce + inspect

Confirm the issue and check logs, recent changes, plugin conflicts, and environment differences.

2) Fix the root cause

Make the smallest safe change that solves it — then verify key flows like checkout, forms, and tracking.

3) Clean up + document

Remove duplication, tidy code where needed, and leave notes so it stays stable after updates.

4) Optional follow-on

If the site is fragile, I can recommend preventative fixes: updates strategy, monitoring, backups, performance improvements.

FAQ

Bug fix questions

Clear answers • No fluff

Do you take on small fixes?

Yes — many jobs are “one thing is broken”. If the cause is unclear, I’ll start with a short investigation.

Can you work with messy codebases?

Yes. I’ll fix what’s urgent first, then suggest the smallest improvements that reduce future breakages.

Will updates keep breaking the site?

Not if it’s structured properly. I’ll point out what caused the break and how to make updates safer going forward.

What does it cost?

Depends on the issue. Send what you’re seeing and I’ll reply with a quote range and next steps.

Want it fixed properly?

Send me what’s broken (error message, URL, what changed recently) and I’ll suggest the safest fix — with a quote range.
